We All Shine On

Why in the world are we here?

I want to reiterate something I said in my last post. I said, “It is your duty to shine.” I meant it. But the question is, do you believe it?

Most of us act as if the world belongs to everyone else but us. I can spot this belief fairly quickly in my clients who apologize a lot. Do you need to apologize for being alive? For existing at this time and space on the planet?

NO!

So, you don’t just have the right to be alive, you are supposed to be here, right now. The world needs the gift of your voice, your action, your presence. You may not even know what any of this is yet. That’s okay. The first step to knowing who you are, finding your voice, and expressing your passions is to know the truth — you were absolutely meant to be you.

So if you find yourself feeling and even verbalizing apologies for your life, your words, and your actions, go ahead and stop.
